In January 2021 I began a practice of writing loving messages to myself.

I'm a mom of two and was busy building a business, but I made a point of getting out of the house (almost) every day and walking to the woods by our house with my journal. I would sit down somewhere (or stand somewhere if it was too snowy) and write—even if only for a few minutes.

I've kept the practice up. I don't always make it to the woods these days; sometimes I scribble in my journal by the light of my phone in bed at midnight. But the woods aren't the important part of the equation—the heart is.

The messages on this site are inspired by the ones that pour into my journal. They're usually inspired by whatever I need to hear myself—but I know from experience that messages like that have a way of resonating.

I hope that these love notes flow into the universe and reach you, if you need them. If you know of someone who could use them, pass them on.

Whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you do, know that you are valuable and loved.

Love, me
